Stuart Munn, 84, of Stop 7 Road, Westmoreland, passed away on April 27, 2015. Stuart was born in Utica, NY on September 16, 1930, son of the late Doris and Donald Munn. At 15 years old, he met the love of his life, Jeanne E. Roux. They married on December 12, 1953. She passed away on November 21, 2013. Stuart enlisted in the United States Air Force in December 1950 and was a Senior Airframe Repairman deployed to Germany. He was discharged from active duty in November 1953. He was employed at Griffiss AFB, Civil Service, from 1954 to 1986 as a senior A/C structural repair mechanic. He also worked at Rome Research Corporation post retirement from Griffiss. Stuart loved his time at Otter Lake as well as time out in his garage, riding his John Deere Tractor and being with friends and family. He will be dearly missed. You won't find a better friend or harder worker. He is survived by his brother, John and Claudia (Chickie) Munn, sister-in-law Carolyn Munn; as well as four sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Georgia Munn, James and Diane Munn, David and Shelley Munn and Thomas Munn. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and extended family who loved and cared for him very much. He was predeceased by his brothers Donald (Allen) (1977) and Sherman (2002). Funeral services will be held at 6pm on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. All are invited to call Friday from 3-6pm prior to the service.
